A pleasure to meet with His Excellency Manar Dabbas, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the UK, at his embassy in London this afternoon, with a group of cross-party parliamentary candidates who visited Jordan earlier in the summer. Our discussion was wide-ranging but focused on the challenges that Jordan faces in a challenging Middle East as a keystone in regional (and world) security. It was an opportunity, too, to consider how we can support Jordan in these challenges.
