Over the last two days I have been supporting the NPP (New Patriotic Party), the sister party to the Conservative Party in Ghana. The NPP is in the process of rebuilding following electoral defeat and with the support of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy we led a two day development programme on party organisation. It was a privilege to visit Ghana, and to meet with HE Dr Mahamudu Bawumia (former Vice President and the Party's 'flagbearer' and its candidate for President at the next election) as part of the visit.
