Members lie at the heart of any political party, but for too long they've been sidelined in the Conservative Party - seen as a cash cow or a resource to be directed at will, to respond to the whim of the day. Their voices need to be heard at the top table, and if I am elected to the National Convention I will ensure that they are. That's what I've always done, and will continue to do.
