This afternoon, the National Convention Officers met privately with the Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP, Leader of the Conservative Party, at the Spring Conference in Harrogate. It was a positive opportunity to discuss the progress of the Party's renewal, including around candidate selection and the revitalisation of the voluntary party. As ever, Kemi was clear and transparent - very happy both to take questions and to hear from us. Leaving that meeting gave an overwhelming sense that the Party is in good hands and that, together, we can make the changes we need in the interests of the country.
