Over the last few weeks, I've really enjoyed getting out and about with candidates and activists across the country as part of our local election campaigns. I've lost count of the number of doors that I've knocked on, leaflets that I've delivered, and phone calls I've made - but despite that I haven't sensed any great love for Keir Starmer. But I have heard from many who recognise that the difficult decisions taken by the Conservative government have started to make a difference.
When the General Election is called, later this year there will be a clear choice: to stick with a plan that is a starting to turn the corner, or go back to the beginning and risk it all with Keir Starmer - a man without a plan for our country.
For now, I'm off to put my feet up for a few hours!
