It was a huge privilege to be on Capitol Hill this week, and to meet with Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R, TX-01). Congressman Moran was incredibly generous with his time, explaining how the House of Representatives works in practice as well as showing the history of an incredible building. Whilst the British haven't always had the greatest relationship with the Congress (I saw the entrance from the cellar through which the British troops entered in August 1814 and proceeded to burn down the Capitol Building), the relationship between our two great nations is invaluable.
